Default Installing after market radio

HI, I am installing after market radio on this car. I was wondering if anybody has any idea of which wire is what. In other words I am looking for the diagram of the wires from the car.
When i bought the car it did not have the manual now i can't even find one.

What year/model of car do you have? It's kind of hard to go off of nothing.

Something like this will make your install much easier. -> http://cgi.ebay.com/2001-2002-...l1247

Check your local audio shops. One of them might have a harness adapter in stock.

Dont quite understand, the car has harness adopter but it dont fit the after market stereo, what iam trying to figure out is which wire is what and what not.
is there a plug to that adopter that can work with new stereo?

the adapter is suppose to plug into your existing stock wiring harness so u dont have to splice up your stock one, so u need to buy an adapter, then the other end of the adapter are just a bunch of wires thats suppose to connect to your aftermarket stereo.

here is the wiring http://www.civicforums.com/for....html

Pictures might make it easier to understand. ('02 Civic install)

A: The blue plug is for your stock OEM radio harness. The white plug attached to it, is the harness adapter.

B: You connect the color coded wires from the harness adapter to the wires on your after market head unit. It should look similar to this when you're done.
(I used solder and white heat shrink tubing)

OR... C: Is this what you're looking for?
