Does anybody know the part numbers for a 99-00 civic si front bumper? I have looked on two different honds parts websites and they show different numbers.

I found the bumper itself or like 129 which is fine but i need the lower lip and its high as heel but i cant figure out exatcly which of the ones up top i need? Any help would be appreciated

For the lip they change the last 2 digits because thhey come painted already.

 

Ok so they come prepainted. So the lower lip comes prepainted and the bumpwer too? also do have a good honda store to get oem parts. I have a few but they act up.

 

I'm also looking for the part number for the factory si hood. I found a oem honda site off this forum and it gave me the hood number but then it had a few other parts i just want to make sure i get the righ pieces. Im currently in IRAQ with the ARMY and Im buying parts so I can't afford to order the wrong parts.

 

All '99-'00 front ends are the same except the Si has a different grille from other coupes/hatches, the sedan has a chrome trim grille, and the Si comes with the front lip standard (it's optional on all other coup trims and fits any of the '99-'00 front ends).

Front bumpers should be the same part number. The same goes for the fenders, headlights and hood.

No need to buy straight from Honda though. The front end parts should be very easy to find in salvage yards.

You will also pay more for the lip if you purchase it under the Si part number. Same part, different prices. Honda does that with several Si parts.

IIRC, the grille shell and lips come prepainted (I know the lips do - some shells do).

Sometimes a certain trim and year will have several part numbers for a part. Often this is just showing a different option for who made the part. It's not that one might fit yours while the other won't.

 

Yeah see I found all the part numbers and looked around to make sure that I was looking for the right parts. With me being in IRAQ I'm trying to order all the parts before I get home so I can do the build. So what your saying is if I order the 99-00 civic si front bumper it will come with the lower lip? I know piecing the parts together will be cheaper but I am having trouble making sure that I have the right part numbers.

The bumper does not come with the lip.

I'm telling you that the Si bumper is EXACTLY the same as any other trim level bumper.

There is no point to have to select an Si one. It is the same as a '99-'00 CX, DX, EX, GX, HX, LX, VP front bumper.

The bumper does not come pre-painted.

The lips I believe are all out of stock from Honda now. If you find some through Honda, try to purchase the one that IS NOT an "Si" part number. The one with the Si part number will be the same (besides color if you're looking for blue) except it will cost more.

Again, the entire front end of ALL US '99-'00 Civics are the same EXCEPT:
- Si has a different grille (mesh, removable "H").
- Sedans have a different grille (chrome trim, more fins).
- Si comes with standard front lip; other coupes have it as an option.

Why do you want to know the numbers so badly? All '99-'00 front end parts fit together.

These are Honda dealerships (at least the ones I have linked in the OEM Sellers List are). If they say it's for that car, IT IS. It WILL fit.

Bare minimum (list price) this will all cost you is $1,775.07. That's with the grille emblem.

It could end up costing you up to $1,810.46 (list price).

Sucks for that grille. By comparison, a brand new sedan grille shell for a '96-'98 is $35.

NO the lip is separate when purchasing the bumper. What she meant was the lower lip came stock on the Si from the factory.

I got my Si frt grille from a junkyard w/H emblem $85

Yep.

The lip came standard on the Si.

The lip was optional on all other '99-'00 US coupes.

 

Thank you for all the input. The one reason I was confused was a few things that I had read stated that the bumpers where differewnt than the Si and then others said they where not. I just wanted to make sure before I bought something. As far as the henders and headlights and intend on going through password jdm to pick up the fenders and the headlights from another place.

 

PW:JDM sells a lot of aftermarket parts as OE btw. So what you get might not be stock parts.
