Default H22A power steering speed sensor

When swapping a H22A into an EG civic do you just keep the H22 VSS unit and loop the power steering lines for the power steering speed sensor or does it need to be swapped? i've deleted power steering by the way.

heres a pic for reference. do i just loop the two lines into each other? what have others done?

when i had my h22 trans, i just left em open. never had any problems, but i'd recomend looping them to be safe.
