I think its the f22a6 ecu that doesn't have it but not positive
Also, I am under the impression that all car sold in California have a governor of 110mph.

my 93ex has a f22a6. I've hit 123mph going up a slight incline...i couldn't go any faster because of drag, I think...I didn't hit any speed limiter because my car didn't cut the fuel...it wanted to go faster, but too much drag plus the incline...
you can remove the limit by switching or reprogramming your ecu.
i think the less powerful engines are governed so they don't go beyond a max operating range? Maybe beyond 110 mph or something, the engines can't handle it?

I have a 91ex and I guess the guy I got it from had the ECU reprogrammed cause I have been upto 130mph in mine.
i've gone beyond

210km/h next to my cousin in his ITR and his brother in his GRAND AM GT
it gets really scary going that fast
