Default Buffet for the Haters - My new civic

Additional pics page 2

Tow hook page 5

I just finished my civic. I got this civic by trading a guy my old xbox 360 which gave me a lot of serious lack of restraint when it came to building it. But I built it for me and built it the way I wanted to so here it is.

Definately like it more than the "retro" civic...odd to see, but (if this really can be said haha) nicely done on the rust

you weren't lying when you said buffet, but you didn't say it was a buffet for rats and raccoons.

It doesn't make sense to me to make a car look 40 years older than it really is. But I mean hey, do what you want.

Your civic has been through a Char-Broil itself.

Belt-sander & a flap wheel.

My last honda was a standard jdm/carbon fiber DA and I got bored with it real quick so I decided to try something new with this car.

Is the rust real or is it a rust paint? I like the contrast between the rust and the black showing the color beneath. It is a little wierd making it looks so old when it a new car but to be honest I like it. I liked it on the ratrod S13, and I like it on your ratrod EJ.

Real rust. I'll get another shell when if it rusts through after I move out west.

But thanks for the comments so far, positive and negative

Yeah the JDM look can get old very quick seeing as it's the newest hype and everyone's doing it. I think what you did is really nice, I've always been a fan of ratrods.

Finish off the look. The interior needs some ratty velvet seats, and if you had those steelies banded (about 2")... that car would be fantastic.

Scuff up the tail lights a little, as they're way too polished compared to the paint.
