i did a post a few moths back but didnt get a chance to try anything...

i have a 97 civic ex 1.6 vtec and did a swap. the engine i put in is a 00 1.6 non vtec. the car starts up fine but wen i hit the gas i have no power at all (sort of bogs out). do i have to change the ecu?

any help would be great!

 

yeah, purchase the correct ecu.

well we need to know what non-vtec engine you put in it.
