Like the title of the thread states, I need help getting into the trunk of my 93 Del Sol. My Del Sol was stolen and the f-ing theives tore out the entire cylinder in the trunk of the car (because it is a 93, there isnt a remote latch to open the trunk). If anyone can help me get into my trunk, I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks in advance.

 

Break the passenger side taillight out, grab the metal rod that the lock WAS hooked to, and pull the rod. Thats it! I had to do this once on my Sol. Sucks ya need a new light now. If you still have carpet in trunk, the rod is behind the carpet!

 

ya if u really need in there id rather have to buy a new light then have to repair metal dmg from prying the latch
