alright guys.. i need to get a brake booster fer mY 88 rex and i was wondering if an jdm ef8 brake booster would be ok to use?! also i'm gonna be getting the gsr rear disc brake conversion in two weeks.. would the ef8 brake booster be a good or bad move? or should i just get the usdm one? thanx in advance guys
Since you're adding rear discs, you might as well swap out the master cylinder, brake booster and proportioning valve. I did this to both my 88 crx si and my 90 civic hatchback si, crx with 90 civic ex knuckles and the civic with 91 integra knuckles. Big difference in braking. Be sure your master, booster and prop are from a non abs 90-93 integra.
Enjoy the conversion.

i'm gonna be buying this in 4 days or sO guys.. please reply any lil info would be appreciated!
other then the driver and passenger side trailer arms, rotors, calipers and brake pads, brake lines & e-brake cable... what else do i need guys? and do i really need the master cylinder and Brake booster from the tegra? i know i'll need the 4040 proportion valve!
FYI i 'm most likely getting the tegra rear disc conversion!

i would change the booster and master cause i think the 88 hf? is that what ya have? have a tiny brake set up. plus it wouldt hurt really to get it all.
you list is correct
just unbolt the entire trailing arm leave everything attacked minus the strut, and grab the e brake cables, and 40/40, and brake lines

Also make sure you start to soak the hell outta your bolts on your set up like wd-40 or pb blaster/ also whe ya you attempt to remove the lower struts bolts use a little bit of heat.
start soaking tonight real good morning and night
