painting car interior... need help!
this is going to sound dumb. But can i rly just paint my front console? i dont like the ugly grey color and was wondering if u think i could just paint the cup holder, center console, etc. And if so do u think it would look really bad? im worried itll show all these brush strokes. or i could spray paint.... but then id have to remove everything haha
If you use a brush, it will leave some lines from brushing the paint on it.
If you spray paint it, and do it right, it will hold it strong, last and you will be happy with the result.
It's not impossible to remove the stuff, you can have everything done in one day (including removal, prep and paint) and re install everything back on the next day.

oh wow, i just had though console removal would be a huge pain liek all the wires n stuff. U have any recomendations for spray paint? i meant i dnt really need any special kind would i? What im afraid of is that if i paint those rubbery parts ( u can kinda push them with ur finger and they go down a lil bit) that the dry paint would crack or something
The center console, shift **** frame, and cup holders are usually really easy to remove. Just a little patience and strength will pull the tabs out of their place, and itll come right up.
Use KRYLON Plastic paint.
Post pictures when youre done with the project..you might inspire somebody.

if your talking about the part with the radio it isnt hard to take out at all and its easy to spray just make sure u sand it first and use surface cleaner ( wax and grease remover) prime it ( wax and grease remover again) then paint 3 min flash times between coats and about 3 coats dont rush it bc paint takes alot of time and patients so if u rush it its going to [freak] up and look like ****
i did everything in my show car did it right tho and fiberglassed it and painted it with nason full base base coat, clear coat but you could go to a paint shop and get your paint code matched up in a spray can its a single stage enamel so you wont have to spray a clear coat and it will stand up if you dont rush it and do it right

I painted my entire dashboard black (from Tan) back when I was a ricer. I took it out, ran down to an autobody supply store to pick up a quart of DuPont black paint ($30), then ran it down to a bodyshop that charged me $80 to prep/paint it. It came out looking like a factory black dashboard.
If you can't paint it right on your own, you could always run it down to a bodyshop like I did and pay them a few bucks to do it.
