Pittsburgh dyno day (Round 2)
Well, we are about half way through the summer season and most everyone that has mods/going to get mods soon are going to need the dyno to tune out those extra couple of horses. So this is what I propose...you guessed it; a Pittsburgh Dyno Day! So here are the low-downs.
Already I think that we are going to have a good number. 5 or more should be able to give us a nice discount price. We should have a good group coming from Columbus this time (after all; you guys were the ones that expressed interest in this...and the supercharger could REALLY benefit from it), should have a couple from Cleveland, and of course the regulars from Pittsburgh! All in all, not a bad group.
The place is called Speed Nation and is owned and operated by Mike Angus, a auto technical writer and car enthusiast. If you would like to visit the website you can do so at: http://www.speednation.com. The dyno that Mike prefers to use is the Mustang Dyno, a very accurate dyno in comparison to the Dynojets and so forth. Your numbers WILL be lower than you would likely expect, however they will be more accurate so keep that in mind. Lastly, bring a little extra $$$ because Mike has a great assortment of Type-R T-shirts, car models, books, and videos.
Cost = $60 (For a test-and-tune) This means that you pretty much have somewhere like an hour to do as many runs as you want. When you are on the dyno, you and/or your friends can make proper adjustments to get that extra needed power.
We will start early. For the out of towners CALL ME, I will make arrangements for you to stay somewhere if you wish. (But you don't have to). We'll start somewhere around 9AM or 10AM.
Sorry for the long post but I wanted to be detail...if you are interested than e-mail me HERE. Talk to you all soon!

No Dyno for me.. I am done playing with the R for now.
Heh.. I might be forced to sell it if the price is right..
I am going to try coming, but of course, I have no mods yet. I also have a gig on that day, unfortunately, http://www.seanpierre.com, but I will hopefully be there. I told a girl with a Yellow Type R in PA about the event as well.

Yup that's what I'm thinking, although this is two of you that would be backing out...maybe I should post the question to all of you...what day do you feel would be best.
Tell Kadi she is a cool cat, and tell her not to get pulled over anymore with people in the trunk

Pick a day that you can, and I will try to work around that...I just can't do it on the 28 though (don't think you can either) because we have to go to a wed reception that day

hey guys I can go on a weekend if I give my boss a 2 week notice that I need a day off...if you guys want to set something up in like 2 weeks or so I will be game just let me know the date for sure....erik should have his R up and runnin by then and I would be interested to see what jay does in his 240 too....maybe I can talk them into goin down too
i should have my turbo on by then, if i dont im gonna be pretty upset, something else you guys might want to keep in mind is that keystone raceway is haveing an all import drag on friday the 16th its called 'fast and furious day" so i guess load up your car with graphics and get your 2 bottles of naaaas filled
,but if anyone wanted to make a weekend out of it with the drag race and the dyno day it might be worth your while to come out the whole weekend.
brandon, my buddy is checking his salvage yard for them spring in some broken trannies, and if you looking for a vafc i an extra one here at the shop.

The car gained a whopping 13 hp from the Spoon air filter!!!
Anyway, I might go and breath in the fumes but I got nothing new on my car to dyno with...

Since I have a new Focus it would be worthwhile to get a new Baseline before I add mods. Mods other than the clear side markers from APC

Figures, right?
