Default need a suggestion....

ok so i have lots of parts laying around....h22 head, h23 head, f23 block, f22 motor....was wondering what etup would e better....f23 block with which head?....h22 or h23?.....was thinking of going with the h23 head for the high compression since im on the bottle and people say its good with high compression but any opinions are welcome thanks....

It all comes down to the reliablity issue.
High compression is a traditional route for All-Motor applications.
Low compression is more the rhelm of boost (either turbo-mechanical or gassious) all because of one controlling factor: metalergy.

High compression combined with a cast aluminum piston (and the "bottle") will get you one thing:
A Paper Weight.

Take your time, do your research and do the job once. The results will be far more rewarding.

Yea defiantly do a lil more research on the subject but I heard from another honda mechanic that an f23 with h22 or h23 head would be a great setup!!!
But then it comes down to NA or forced induction... Which are you trying to build??

Well... a bone stock motor will tolerate Nitrous (at moderate levels) for a bit, but ultimately you're going to break something; particularly if it's coupled with high compression (9:1 or higher).
Anything over 100hp (consistantly) should require some attention to stronger Pistons, Connecting Rods and better Bearings.
And pay particular attention to at what RPM you hit the switch.
I've seen more than my fair share of engines "grenade" from applying it too soon.

so what do you think about using the f23 block with the h22 head and just keeping the stock f23 pistons.....

The H22 head with the F23 block would be a good choice for a low comp setup. Quite a bit of work from what I have seen and understand.

Be a little bit more descriptive on what exactly you are trying to do with your "G" series thoughts and we can help you more.

This doesnt help AT ALL. Anyone can throw on a bottle and blow up ANY motor, Takes research and trial and error to be reliable.

Low compression - squirt away
High(er) compression - I'd be VERY conservative and work your way into it.
