94 Accord Lx Shut off on me yesterday
ok i have a 94 accord lx i cant figure the problem out worth nothing but ill start from the beginning i got the car about 4 months ago my first honda it was already messed up so i started replacing parts cause it would never stay on and drive. so i replaced the alternator, spark plugs and wires, new oil and oil filter, pcv valve, new MAP sensor, IAC valve and it still wouldn't drive so i get one of my moms mechanics to look at it and somehow hes looking at the fuel filter and the notices the two washers that are off so he puts them on car starts perfectly and rides for a day then dies again so then i replace the fuel pump myself about a week ago car runs nice until yesterday morning and it dies right when i hit the end of my driveway. so my question is does anyone have any other ideas what it could be or should i replace the fuel filter everytime u replace the fuel pump?>?

Is your car in a hot climate? If I remember correctly the accord has a $50 main relay under the steering column that craps out when it gets heat soak. It was at least a problem for the 90-93 Accords but I think the relay was used in multiple years.

you poor shumck, you replaced all those parts for nothing.
Anyway i'm gonna say 95% chance it is your main relay, that's a high percentage. I'll share my thoughts with you. I have the same model you described, did the same thing you posted. I replaced parts and the car kept stalling especially on hot days, until 2 years ago i got the main relay. The car has not stalled ONCE! excpet if let my foot of the clutch
