Questions on building a 600whp daily driver
<html>i've got some basic ideas, i want to start out with a 2.0 dart block, and head, im just looking for ideas on parts, such as valvetrain, internals, turbos, stroker kits, anything i might need to achieve this goal of 600whp, include tuning, setups (like which head to use on which block etc etc... and every aspect. and keep in mind this needs to be a street killer!, and one of my biggest questions, is what transmission, gers and such, and is there a serious honda tranny that i can buy basically off the shelf, instead of completely building one, and also need to know where i can find some fwd drag wheels, front and back, (skinnies in the back) give me some ideas fellas.... PS money isn't an option....</html>

So you want us to spoon feed you and build your engine for you, so you don't have to do any research on your own?
Just take it to a shop and give them a blank check if you're too lazy to do anything yourself. There is no magic recipe for 600whp, there are a million combination's.

Lol yeah rite?
If you need to ask how to make a 600 HP car and use it as a daily driver, You don't have a clue what your doing and most likely would kill yourself driving a car with half that HP.

you need alot of money, a good tuner ,and excessive fortitude to drive it

jk.....making that power is not that hard with much money and turbo but keeping a transmission in the car is a diffrent story.....that will hold you back

i mean i've got a few ideas, i just wanted some opinions, i'm think about buy a block and head from DHracing.... but my biggest thing is the trans, i am def going to have to super beefy trans for that kind of power
If all you have in mind is a block and head you have a lot of thinking to do. Might as well get a pile of trannies to go with that setup. I heard the stock transmissions can handle a good amount of power with decent syncros and axles.
for the trans use gearspeed...search them they are out of Cali...
i suggest a gsr trans with an ls 5th gear for highway - definitely use a beefed up lsd with aftermarket ring and pinion.
as far as what you need motor and fuel wise check out jeff evans..
http://www.evans-tuning.com/te....html
its pretty acurate..of course all of these parts are nothing without a good tune - i would consider evans if you have the time and money
to daily drive i would use a hondata s300 w/boost by gear and a range of different tunes so you can crank the boost up if u want to via laptop..
the rest is all research u need to do on ur own...keep in mind evans has a lot of ties with the parts companies that he puts on his website

To make 600whp wouldnt be that hard with enough cabage............as far as driving it your going to have to have 1000 cc injectors.....so you inj. pulse rate will probl. dropin below 1.3 ms so im guessin that driveablity will be very poor and or it may not be that bad but you will be pouring fuel down into the cyl's and run too rich out of boost bad gas mileage
I would just tell you your not going to be able to DD a 600 hp car! Thats retarded! Even a 400 hp crx I wouldnt want to DD. You need to think outside the box and wake up to reality.
the cash part isn't an issue, i work offshore and would build it on my own but just don't have the time or the tools, was thinking of send it to cft, but evans tuning is looking pretty promising, what do you guys think about fully assembled DH race engines?

if money aint a isue get one of these

yea that nascar guy larry widmer built a shoc with like 500 horsepower
using a stock si gearbox with a quaife torque-sensing limited-slip unit or quaife LSD gear.??? just changed the axles to handle that amount of hp/trq.
he was still getting like 29mpg.
i read an article on this hotrod site.
ill find it and post it later

i wonder if they got more HP by relocating the water pump or is the C series engine already like that? running off of a seperate belt and everything.
