Default 17" in front 18" in the rear?

would it be a problom of puttin 18" inch rims in the rear and 17 up front, im gettin the car lowered an inch in the next week, and gonna get the enkei rpf1 in black?
also any ups and downs of the eibach pro kit?

what are you lowering the car on...springs or coilovers?

if springs then it will look like complete ***...coilovers will allow you to play with it a little but still...look like ***

Maybe if you get bigger profile rear tires, then fool around with your speed sensor to get it to work right. I'm assuming the speed sensor works off the rears? A super low profile rear with normal fronts would look dumb though.

I did the staggered set up on my car. Specs are 17x8 +38 for the fronts and 18x9 +42 for the rears. Tire sizes are 225/40/17 and 245/35/18. Here's afew pics..

k thanks for the feedback, im gonna order the enkei rpf1's in black and the springs from sears, i work there so i get a discount and have access to all the tools, i might just go with 17's all around but slightly bigger in the rear

yeah, to pull off the look of the staggered set ups you will definetly need a set of coilovers to adjust them just right.

one of the sickest wheel setups ive seen on an s2k is jareds old setup with 16" mf10s up front and 17" in the rear in nsx offsets.

It will look and work just fine with stepped sizes! Just make sure you running a taller tire in front.

thats what im saying.. hasn't anyone every watched best motoring? lol
this is the same "what?" reaction ppl give users who post thoughts of running narrow tires in the rear in FF cars....

eibach pro kit left my front a little high. well not necisarilly high but the fender gap in the front was still higher like it is stock, you just don't notice it. and that would look a little ridiculous with what you are going to do. i say use the same rim size on all four corners. that way you can always order the same size tires. another plus to that is you can rotate your tires front to back.
