Default vtec ? help help
my vtec kicks in @ 4500 and I changed the computer to put it back to stock .Put in a new obd1 computer for gsr .It still kicks in at 4500 any one guess why

your tach may be off to be honest....if you have access to an auto meter or whatver 5" tach hook it up and see what you get...it just seems to me that your favtory tach isnt working right

if im not mistaken, the IAB on a gsr opens at 4500 on a stock p72 and it can sound like vtec engaging. that might be what youre feeling

if thats the case the car would be reving to like 10000. It taps out @ just over 7800 like a stock should .But it worth looking into

no dont think thats it ,I have had like 4 gsr 2 in hatches and 2 integras .Pretty sure I know what the vtec feels like.Thanks thou
