HELP: tokico illumina's not dampening?
well basically as the title says, i have tokico illuminas on front and rear, been on for awhile, but im trying to turn the dampening up on them and it seem like no matter how much i turn them they dont get any stiffer?
is this bad? or am i not doing something right? i've heard that you can just turn it back and forth allot, but i did that and it didnt seem to do anything?

yes, of course it should make a difference when you adjust it.
its typically very noticable between a single adjustment.
if you really cant notice anything, then i guess all 4 of yours are trashed??
i really dont know what more there is to suggest.

pretty sure they arent gone, they arent leaking or anything.

holy ****. i seriously hope you did not turn the adjuster for the dampening around and around. It says in the instructions that it goes 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1 NOT 1-2-3-4-5-1-2-3-4-5-1-2-3-4-5. It took like 4-5k miles for my illuminas to break in. But i noticed a big difference turning the selector even when they had 0 miles on them.
I really hope you did not [freak] your valving up. I repeat the selector for the dampening control does NOT go around and around.Did you even read the installation instructions?

Dang, all that sounds confusing. Are there not positive stops at each end of the adjustment range? Meaning you turn one way to go from 1-5, then you turn it back the other way to go back from 5-1.
Makes me glad my Konis have positive stops at each end of the range, even though there aren't click stops. I just go by 1/4 turns.
