I hated the way the cbr 1000 looked, but these pics are friggin' SWEET!!!!

 

whoever put that exhaust on that HRC Dream bike should be shot

 

this thread just changed alot of my original opinion on the aesthetics of this bike

Notice the tank covers are different on the AMA bikes? Bigger airbox or just a larger tank you think?

I love every thing about it, except burning oil.

I'm finally starting to get comfortable on the bike at the track. just working out a few bugs.

Mine has yet to burn any oil

Maybe a lot of the issues relate to break in ?? I dunno but most of the issues seem to be with people that hammered it from day 1. I did my own style of break in similar to my old race car engines and it seems to be golden. Hell if it could get a good seal on forged pistons and ge sleeves it must work good.

 

I don't want to get into this discussion. My bike runs great period.

Mine without a doubt handles better stock than my 04 zx6r did before I sold it with lots of work.

 

it does not handle like an new r6 or 600rr but it does handle better then any 1000 i've been on.

the flick ability of a r6 or 600rr is awesome. but the power of a 1000..... well that's pretty damn awesome too.
