what's wrong with those? I ordered a spoon sport chip it moves rev limit to 8900rpm disables speed limiter, knock sensor and o2 sensor. It was only 20bucks so i guess I'll give it a try until I get all my parts to go lsvtec.

you are asking to destroy your engine with crap like that. those chips are garbage. not to mention revving a b18a1 to nearly 9k rpm is just asking for catastrophic failure, and a rod through the side of your block.

For the gains <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by kenlrw39 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I have a b18a1 in my hatch with a b16 tranny and a ls ecu I have the basic mods I was looking at the chips that are for sell on ebay and decided to buy one. For the gains that they say it will do it's not worth risking your engine. Just leave it stock for now is my recommendation. But they are just ab out all the same chips so it doesnt really matter what brand it is.

I'm not gonna rev it to 8900rpms that's what it moves it to I'll prob just push it to 7000rpms and keep it safe but I mostly just wanted it cause it removes the o2 sensor cause i keep getting the code for it. but I'm planning on building a whole new block for my ls/vtec.

the rods are pretty strong but they have weak bolts so i would advise you get arp rod bolts i turned my ls/vtec to 9200k with stock rods with arp rod bots stock crank and pct pistons......but i did melt piston 4 and broke ring lands on 2 and 3 using a crap computer that i got on ebay. i was told it was a p72 but it was a obd1 ecu with no knock board...would not trust ebay with tunning....lol

I see your in Cali. What i would do is get a ecu that is chipable, buy a socket and blank chip for the ecu. And im sure there is a tuning shop around ya somewhere. Just tell them what your looking for and they should be able to hook ya up.

I mean think about it...Your not gonna get a good chip for 20 bucks!
I know its been said before but b18s are not meant to rev high.
