I bought an ef8 clip from hmo to do my rhd conversion, I plan to keep my sohc motor, but im running into a problem. The ef8 rear crossmember only has 3 bolt holes for mounting the rear mount, so the stock usdm mount isnt gonna bolt up. I need a ef7,ef2, or any rhd crossmember that has 4 bolt holes for the rear mount. Ive been searching for one and im not having any luck finding one. Im debating welding the stock usdm mount to the rhd crossmember, my only concern with that is if i ever have to replace that mount.
Im just wondering everyones opinion on welding the mount to the crossmember?

I thought about that to, but i may not be able to. The way the ef8 crossmember is shaped around the mount i may not have any metal to drill.
Contact jdm unlimited. They should have or be able to get you the correct rear crossmember. I was gonna go through them myself but couldn't wait. Don't weld it you might want a better motor in there one day
