Vented Carbon Fiber Hoods for the USDM ITR?
I have seen that one. Does it need hoodpins?
Shouldn't really be an issue, esp with a big-ole hole in the hood!
P.S. you might still be able to get $100 off the reg price, shipped.

I would also like to see someone put "quality" and "vented carbon fiber DC2 hood" together in one package...

There is a vented carbon fiber hood that importfan.com has. It resembles a Mitsu Evo 7 hood style. The quality shown is hideous. Just FYI on a hood I suppose...
you guys don't worry about water getting in the engine bay...i'm running a turbo on my R so i don't want water dripping on my exhaust manifold...
.....you better run hoodpins with the speeds you're contemplating Ed!
With the holes in the hood I was under the impression that there wouldn't be as much air pressure build up under the hood to push it up at speed.
Pins are not completely out of the question, though.

I have spoken to the owner several times in the last few months, and they've been trying out some new/better resins for the hood, and the fit and finish should be exceptional (otherwise I'll send it back)!
