now, where can i get one of these lights?? i'm assuming the worst case scenario would be riding over to the Honda dealer and having them get me one....what do you guys think???

on the lighter colors like taffy white and alabaster silver it looks nice,

but its once u get to the darker colors like fbp, nhbp, hrp, and so on it looks ricey.
reminds me of those altezza style lights

I agree. On white, it will look like there isn't a third brake light.

thanks for the link to the Collegehills site......i'll be ordering one up very soon.....consider it ricey if you want....it's our opinion.....(opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one and they all stink) haha
but, i still think it'll look good on our galaxy gray si too (as long as there's a nice pair of clear euro tail lights to match)

The link to the thread on 8th seems to corroborate the opinion that the mod is better suited to light colored cars.

 

well then why do the '09 Civics (that this clear 3rd brake light comes on) are being sold in darker colors then?? like i said, it's all a matter of personal taste...i could care less what 8th, or whomever else, considers it to look best on....i just wanted to know where i can get my hands on one
bottom line is that it's MY car...and, i'm going to make it unique to set it apart from all the other '08 Si Civics i see driving around where i live (and there's not many, just base model Civics)

so, go and petition Honda to stop putting them on all their new '09 model Civic Si other then the "light" colored ones.....

While I'm drawing up that petition, I'll go ahead and do another to get rid of the chrome strip across the trunk in the 09's

well, it's sort of hard not to be offended by some of the people on here when half don't even own an Si and just want to tell you how dumb they think a mod to your ride is, or that you should've used the red "Search" button before postin a new thread...
it gets old really fast for me...but, then again that's just me
