Default 2008 Pilot electronics (TPMS, VSA)?

What is the relationship between the various electronics in the 08 Pilot? Does a relationship exist between the tire pressure monitoring system and the vehicle stability assist? I would like to buy dedicated winter wheels and tires and install them without using the TPMS. I know the TPMS warning light will be on, but does that present a problem with other vehicle electronics? The hassle of having to reprogram the TPMS twice a year and the associated costs really makes us dislike the mandated system. A tire pressure gage is easy to use.

If you use Honda sensors in the other wheels the TPMS unit will automatically learn the new sensors when you swap wheels (the same thing happens every time you rotate your tires)
When the TPMS light is on the VSA can not be turned off. It's a "safety feature"
