Remember that "hubs" and "knuckles" are different parts, though all the bearings will be the same.

The EK knuckle is roughly 1/2" shorter than the EG knuckle, whether its for the 9.5" or 10.3" brake setups. The 9.5" brake setups of either chassis take a 4x100 hub, but its slightly smaller in outer diameter and center bore for rotors.

You can use EK knuckles on a lowered EG, but I would not put EG knuckles on a stock height EK, as the knuckle will now be taller on a stock ride height, giving positive camber. positive camber is the bad kind, when the wheels tip out at the top.

if you use EK knuckles on an EG without any lowering, you will probably have negative camber, good for performance, but will affect tire wear a bit on the inside of the tires.

so in other words, an EK knuckle can be used on an eg OR dc integra as a 1/2 drop? (dc and eg knuckles the same?)

I haven't compared the knuckles side by side, but I don't think they'll provide any lowering. I believe the shorter height is all above the hub (meaning, distance from hub to upper ball joint is shorter).

Now, if the distance from lower ball joint to hub was increased, that would provide lowering (you'd have a "drop knuckle").

Considering the shock towers on my DC2 are dented from UCA contact, I'm curious to know exactly how interchangeable the EK and EG/DC knuckles are. Another 1/2" of UCA travel would be fantastic...

I am new to honda tech but very into hondas and have a strange question then about my wheel hubs and rotors.
and i cant post my own thread about this since im not a full member yet

I recently got a 94 civic eg coupe with a b18c1 which im inrediably please with the engine but the hubs were in a terrible state and just getting worse. Driver side doesnt allow wheel to sit flush and passanger side has only bolts. Not to mention the driver side hubs is smaller then the passanger side by .5 inch. So is the driver side (5 inch) a be series hub? so i went to my friends parts eg hatch and took his wheel hubs off of it and those 2 are the same size as the passanger one i have on my eg coupe already. Then so i ordered drilled and slotted rotors for my 94 non abs coupe and they came out to not work on the new hubs i got but only work on the smaller driver side hub. so i then went to a junkyard to get to the bottom of these ridiculilsly confusing hubs and all the eg coupes had the big rotors like i got off my buddys hatch.

So did they send me bseries rotors or something? and do you know if the axles will fit into the eg bigger rotors or if i need to get gsr hubs?

sorry if it came out confusing when i wrote but even my buddy whos a mechanic for a honda dealership was confused as hell. Any knowledge would be amazing thank you.
