Can someone tell me what kind of wheels these are?

Default Can someone tell me what kind of wheels these are?

Im getting a good deal on these. Can someone tell me what brand they are or what they are?

Look for stamps on the backside of the hub. My guess would be that they're bargain specials from some local shop or wheel discount site.

They look like an old 5zigen wheel. (I think they were called NR-08) but there were a lot copies produced, so it could be any number of those either.

5Zigen GT8s

The center caps are rather different, but that could be that the owner lost the originals. Check for 5Zigen stamps on the hub side of the wheel.

i thought about that with the centers. but if you notice by the air valve it has two markings by the lip of the wheel in the same exact spot as the 5 zigens......ill find out in a few hours.

Those are nothing more than stamps stating that the wheel passes certain strength/durability requirements in Japan. They have almost nothing to do with the manufacturer/model of the wheel. A good example of this, is the Spoon SW-388's. Rota's knock-off (the Slipstream), has the exact same stamps, in almost the exact same place.

well the only thing it says on the back is 17x7 et 40 and made in japan. no 5zigen stamp. oh well i got them for about a 100 bucks. no big deal.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that they're legit 5Zigen's, but I would want to make sure.
