Did he go off and unplug something ? If not then it shouldn't have anything to do with it .

Have you checked your battery ?
Starter ?
Made sure your spark plug wires were pushed in all the way ?

Just a few simple things to check before you start freaking out

Sounds like it's turning over, but not firing.
Do you have gas?
Do you have spark?
Do you have compression?
Do you have any CELs?

Don't let people drive your car, especially if they can't drive stick. The clunk of the engine stopping might have knocked a wire loose somewhere.

Did it start after it was stalled, or did it stall and that was it?

Have someone hit the starter w/ a hammer while u try to start it !

Its an old trick - Maybe u can take a video to help us better understand as to what it is doing !

It is not the battery or starter.
I meant check the spark plugs for gas.
And to check for spark... (have someone knowlegable help you or you will shock yourself) ...hold the plug to ground while starting the car and watch for spark.

Could be possible.. I'd start with checking all the fuses under the hood and under the dash

Is that an early 90's model?

My old Accord used to do that when the battery needed replacement.

Could be a fuse, or starter.

When did you last replace the sparkplugs/wires? They could be shot if they are real old.
