Default what to do mugen twin loop

ok i got the full catback mugen twin loop i would like to know what you guys think about this idea will it loose power? or will it gain? i really dont care about cops and smell
im running toda header and a cat
my idea is to build a custom pipe after the cat and go straight to twin loop eliminating the silencer in the middle
what do u guys think??? more gains? more loss in hp? sound will be awesome as well i think

I think it sucks.
Just put the twin loop on. If your avitar and handle are no idle boast and you still are using the JDM cat, I hope you got the JDM version twin loop or it won't fit.

I think it should gain without the resonator. Also I don't think the mugen is a true 2.5 inch. So go with a true 2.5 and it should gain some power. It might be kinda loud w/o the resonator.

It sucks because it's not a whole mugen unit. Hytech also has a twin loop.

well its the whole mugen catback just wonder if i will gain by doing the custom pipe 2.5 and eliminating the middle resonator.. since mugen did studies and they put that for a reason (gains wise or sound restriction wise)

Dont get rid of your resonator, itll sound like hell without it. unless its a straight through design all the way back with a straight through muffler and no cat(RS*R GT2)

Do you plan on putting the car on a dyno before and after?

If not, dont waste your time.

If you want more flow... sell the TL (with original B-pipe) and get something less restrictive.

well i saw this video of a NYer living in thailand and he has this integra and let me tell u that car looks so fast in the video and the sound is amazing and he claims he is 240 was wondering what kind of mods he has and also in some part of the vids seems he is running a straight custom pipe directly from the header to the twin loop

so if someone knows what he did to the car let me know and also hoe he achieved that 240 car is so clean

Here is a soundlip/video of my old R. B18C(jdm type r longblock) with jdm 4-1, smsp 200 cell cat, T1R 2.5" B pipe and Mugen twinloop axleback
http://s23.photobucket.com/alb...2.flv
Same setup now on my R, minus the cat and it sounds absolutely incredible.
