Default What the [freak]s with my accord

my 1994 accord ex f22b1 has had more problems then anything ive ever had before.

my belts stopped squeeking for literally like 2 weeks...then out of nowhere i was doing like 55 and i turned on my a/c....then it started squeeking again.

next: yah know what your driving and you stop and then when you take your foot off the brake it starts moving? well mine doesnt, it stays still

also: haha when i start goin like fast...when my rpm gauge hits like 5grand it starts to shake back and forth then will shoot forward

is there anyway that this could all be related to one thing? also for some reason my car smells like its burning...but if its burning oil then the blacksmoke...but my oil did get really low recently

You just need a good all around maintenance check.. New plugs, cap & rotor. Defiantly an alignment.
And the burning smell is prolly somethin to do with your tranny if its an A/T and doenst move forward with no brake pressure.

man, no lie, ive changed EVERYTHING you could possibly think of...everything, my engine LITERALLY just got taken totally apart and got all new seals, head just got machined and cleaned out, new motor oil im guessing unless the shop just used what i had...they didnt charge so yeah thats prolly the case, and yeah ill probably try and change my tranny fluid

umm what else, oh and the distributor, rotor, plugs, wires, hoses, fans, etc.

oh and my brake lights use to not turn off and i fixed it by putting a screw where that rubber plunger lookin thing used to be, perhaps thats causing something to happen

yeah i got a job about 4 days ago and i start next week so my first paycheck will probably go to getting some fixage...

oh and i also drift a lot do you think that may be the cause? but like when i got this car i was pissed bc its a pretty slow car, maybe like 0-60 in like 8-9 seconds but my friend was like theres other ways you can have fun in a car...so i started drifting hahah but im pretty sure that im gonna start driving like a grandma haha

The intermittant belt squeek could be caused by several things
-a loose belt
-oil from an engine leak could contaminate the belt

The car won't creep complaint could be due to a too low idle (anything else and I'd be really stretching.

If you don't have an associated CEL, it sounds like your Tachometer may be deciding to retire.

run like hell? it runs fine, theres just dumb little things wrong with it bc its a 14 year old car...i got it for 1500 less then kbb.com so i figured i was getting a deal...little did i know theres lots of work

and drifting wouldnt cause that **** are you dumb, you use 2 things when you drift: your gas pedal, and your e brake

for instance, today it was poaring...i drove around and i just did a little sliding, if hondas werent meant for that then they shouldnt of put an e brake in a auto accord

Have you replaced the dizzy. the tack and the burning smell is a early sign of the dizzy going.

Go buy a rebuilt dizzy.

my distributor wasnt even bolted down, the guys at the shop must not of tightened it down, but that isnt my problem anymore

the only problem im having now is my accesory belt being loose obviously bc my tensioner must not be working properly, and my pedal gets clicked down when you press on it a little bit

OHHHhhh.... That's what the Ebrake is for!

Ive been using it to keep my car from rolling away when its parked.

kevodean can you write up a DIY for the correct way to utilize the EBrake in our Accords.

LOL!!!

1. If there is a problem with the tension in your belts then tighten them to the proper specs. The 94 Accord does not have an auto tension setup for the accessory belts.

2. How do you drift in a FWD car? You mean you go around pretending to drift aka Powersliding. I wouldn't consider using wet pavement to do e brake turns as drifting. You might as well go get yourself some lunch trays and save your rear tires.
