Just wondering how much boost stock b16 rods can handle?

 

This is asked just about every day. Boost is not a good power measurement, horsepower is.
Besides that, it all depends on the tune.

 

Lets say 300 whp?

 

a good tune can go a long ways.. the most power made on a bone stock b16 bottem end is 630whp..

There should be a sticky in the Forced Induction FAQ's about horsepower vs. psi. The "how much boost" question is getting older than Moses.

Are you talking about stock pistons or forged pistons?? That would help this discussion along...

There are a few of these threads actually, but nobody cares to search anymore. They all just ask the same question time and time again. Trust me, if anyone gets sick of it, its me. I'm on here a lot and have to move/lock/delete those threads....

 

i had about 450whp w/ wisecos on stock ls rods and arp rod bolts.
