84 Accord won't budge
I used to use this site when I owned an Integra and you guys rock, pull through for me again.
I recently became the owner of an '84 Accord. The car is a beast, or was until the timing belt broke. I am currently in the process of replacing the belt, but my real problem is that the car won't even attempt to roll over and there isn't even a click when I turn the key in the ignition. When I take the key out, the oil light and battery light are illuminated. And no one seems conclusive on what that means, so I was hoping the guys with classic honda experience could help me out.
Any advice would be awesome, I can't wait to roll around in this amazing car

Interesting... they never made an Accord Coupe in '84? Is it a hatchback?
Sounds to me like your ignition switch is bad. Mine did the exact same thing. It's inside the steering column. Big white thing that attaches to the lock cylinder, has a bunch of wires in it. Pull one out at the wrecking yard, so you don't destroy your car first.

Wow, totally miffed on that one. Yea it's a hatch, I have just owned two door coupes for so long I have gotten in the habit of calling anything with two doors a coupe.
Thanks for the help, I am going to head to a junkyard this weekend to see if I can find one.
