Just recently when I press the break pedal on my dc2 the instrument lights, corner lights, running lights, and key in ingition alarm all come on and stay on until I let off, regaurdless if keys are in or out. Also when I turn on the headlights on the break lights are also on, so the only way my break lights are visiable if I dont turn on my parking or headlights on. I dont know if its related, but I only have crusie control when the lights are switched off. Whats going on here?

 

try the reset button under your dash board. the same one they use to clear the your maintenence req' dummy light. it sounds like some wires were crossed somewhere tho too so thatmay not be the case but it could be a quick fix. it takes no time or effort so try it
have you had the car in to a shop for work recently? my buddy heard of all sorts of things like this at his local dealership.

 

check your tail light bulbs. 2 of them are supposed to have 2 filaments in them and 2 of them only have 1 filament inside. im 95% sure this is whats up because i had the same problem when i got my integra. your break lights (the inside bulbs) have 2 filaments and the outside turn signal bulbs have 1 filament. hope that helps.
