Motor mount swap
I just bought some new mounts for my EF (CRX if it matters). I got them all swapped out but one, its the "rear" mount its attatched to what i would call the front sub-frame. Its closest to the back of the car. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get this thing out. Anyone able to provide an explanation for getting this mount out? I would appreciate it...Thanks HT.
(by the way)- I am using a jack and jack stands, i do not have a chery picker.

Obviously that mount is a huge PITA to get out. There is a 14mm bolt located at the back of the mount. It's pretty difficult to get to because of the lack of clearance. You will need a long extension with either a short universal joint socket or a swivel to make it easy. You still might be able to get a normal socket in there, but from what i can remember its unlikely.
when i pulled my motor out of my crx i just unbolted the bracket off the motor and pulled it out. After to get the mount out i used a long 14mm and a U-joint with an extension attached to it, and got it to fit through the top. i got the bracket off before i did this.
