Default how much should a bare gsr head go for??

how much is too much to pay for a bare gsr head?i found a good one for $400??...and how much is around the right price??

400 better inculde the manifold and trottle body.....and any thing that goes on them!!!

but i heard with my stock gsr block..i will lose power and compression with the si head ...can u gimme some insight

thanks for the link...but as for hp i heard u lose alot of power like 22 without different pistons...i forgot i read it here somewhere.

You can always buy a 1 layer gasket to make up for it.

for the compression u mean??? but how bout the lost of power imma suffer since im not planning on touching my block ne time soon

By using a single layer head gasket, you will raise compression because there is now a smaller space where the air and fuel combust. Since the compression is higher it should bring the hp back up.

Complete..as in IM, TB and all the sensors. I'd pay around 600-800 depending on condition and mileage.

nah i think i found a gsr head here on h-t....just wanted a idea how much they ran for ..oh yeah when i meant complete i meant with the cams and full internals,valve cover. ...thanks guys
