Default some advice

how long does it take for the fan ti kick on in a 92-95 civic and will the car over heat if the fan isnt on

when your temp gauge reads halfway it should kick on untill it goes a little below halfway. and yes without the fan it will quicly over heat.

It varies on ambient temps and the like. I know on my 6th gen, stock, at operating temp and having it parked it can take up to 5 minutes or so. Without it, you'll more than likely start to see the temps rising until you get some air moving around there.

at approx. 217 deg on off at approx. 180-190 deg. i do belive(not sure) and yes the car will overheat if you slow down enough to stop the airflow across the radiator ie. at stoplights and stop and go traffic. that im sure of..
