Default Anyone near tampa Florida wanna pick me and my gf up from airport?

Hey guys, I'm flying to Tampa Friday and will arrive at 10 pm ish at TPA. My girlfriend and I are flying down to pick up her 2003 Cobra Mustang from Karl Flammer Ford in Tarpon Springs (near Tampa).

Guess who the previous owner was? Chris Jericho lol...traded it in for a GT500.

Anyway, it would save me a big cab fair if someone wanted to pick us up and maybe hang out at a bar that night then take us to the hotel. I think its only like a 8-10 mile drive from the airport to the hotel. I'd of course toss in some gas money and a few beers. But if any of you Florida guys wanted to hang, it would be nice to meet some of you.

Edit: I'll also be hanging in Florida all day Saturday to take in some warmth now that MD is freaking cold, so we could meet/hang on Saturday also.

Haha I'll PM him...don't really know him at all and haven't talked to him much on HT so it would be pretty weird calling him lol

Your girls into Cobras?
Awesome. I am in south florida but if I was in Tampa I could do the favor.

I have been out of Honda world for a while, jumped into Cobras.

I have a 99' with whipple @19 lbs, SRA, 2000 Cobra R t-56 fully built etc.
Cobras are lots of fun.
Enjoy the roadtrip.

I had to Google that one...

Personally, I'd make the dealership arrange transportation for you.

When I lived in Holiday, Fl. many years ago I used to eat at this place once a week. Be sure to stop in and get yourself a gyro or two.
Also check out, Konger Tarpon Springs Aquarium right down the street, pretty cool way to kill some time.

Sounds badass man! Yea she's really into them, which is pretty hot if you ask me. I'm hoping to do the subframe connectors, IRS brace, IRS and Subframe bushings sometime pretty soon. Next summer I'll begin the Long tubes, mid pipe, cat back, fuel pumps, MAF, Full Maxim suspension and LCA's/bushings/k-member, and then maybe a whipple....but I'm not trying to kill her lol.

Well we won't be getting there until 10 pm so that might be kind of hard honestly.

Thanks Rob, I'll be sure to stop by that place and check it out. Hopefully there is some nice weather so this long *** drive is somewhat worth it while we are at the beach!

Awesome bro, I have a couple parts you might be interested in. Spec 3+ 10 Spline clutch disc etc. etc
I upgraded to the 26 spline input shaft when I had the trans built.

I can link you to some good websites also for those cars. I will PM them to you.

Thanks man, I've actually been on all those website for years now...Lol My buddy has owned a 2003 pretty much since they came out so I've been rolling around that crowd. I'm going to upgrade to a Liberty 26 spline input shaft also, and as for the clutch I'm not sure which brand yet, but the Spec 3 is getting very nice reviews.

Oh aiight.
Well yeah my input shaft and mainshaft were twisted when I bought the car so I had ProMotion go through it.
Went with a 26 spl upgrade, their own Valeo disc with my spec 3+ pressure plate. and tons of other crap.
