Default Energy Suspension

Hi,
I purchase a Energy Suspension Kit for my 2000 Civic SI and the Bushings are Red in colour, I just read on other forums that the red bushings tends to squeak alot after a while and that the black is better to use, Have anyone here heard of this problem before.?????
I plan to put the whole kit on my car and hoping not to get any squeaky noise in the future...
The only bushings I did not buy was the Motor or Transmission mounts, I have all new original motor mounts from Honda...

Polyurethane bushings are going to squeak unless they are lubricated regularly. No other way around it.

If you're worried about squeaking, then this car is obviously used for street driving and not competitive racing. Why go with polyurethane at all then? I prefer rubber bushings myself; OEM is almost always best for quality, longevity, and quiet operation.

Yes this car is use on a daily bases, I bought the Energy Suspension to make it better handling and direct steer when needed in competition, on a weekend I will go once in while to the racetrac and do some 1/4 mile runs. Here you can take a look at the car if you like:

My intension with this car was to make upgrades to make the car run in the low 13-seconds and with a better suspension, until I heard recently that the bushings makes noise, so since I already have it I will be putting alot of grease on it.....

do a lot more reading on poly and how it doesn't allow proper articulation.
poly binds and ultimately will crack or get misshapen.

do yourself a favor and sell them to someone else or junk them.

I have had polyurethane front compliance arm bushings on my car for over a year now with no noises or warping. I also have the big thin steering rack bushing and shifter stabilizer bushings on and I haven't noticed any abnormalities in them whatsoever. Just grease them properly with the stuff they provide and you should be okay.

The red ones are no different from the black ones...it's just the color.

The black bushings reportedly are impregnated with graphite for self-lubrication. This was done to reduce squeaking, but unfortunately it does not.

I was told the same thing today by Speed and Truck world, They said to put alot of the grease and I will be fine for a long time, also I drove their race car today which have the Energy Suspension under the car except the Motor and Transmission mounts, and the car have great response to steering and smooth ride better than the new 2008 Civic's, no noise firm and great to drive, belive me I drove down a back road that have alot of pot holes and bumps dings etc. and the car was great to drive...
They give me alot of the grease that Energy Suspension sells for there parts, so I will be putting it on soon, I can't wait now.....
Thanks guy's for all your help and taughts...

Here's some reading for you.

Poly bushings are junk. I had the shifter bushings in my car, and they crumbled to pieces after a few years. NOT what I expected when the original rubber bushings looked much better yet were much older. I will NEVER add poly bushings anywhere on my car ever again.
