Probably the same salesman who said that the S2000 will only be around for 2 years (this was back in 99-00 when it was just introduced), so better buy yours now!!
Do some salesman think we are that stupid??

my salesman told me the s2000 would become an evil stalker and drive by my house late at night if i didn't purchase it.

did you guys notice the s2000 now is so available that you can buy it straight out for 30K!!!
it has just gotten so cheap now on the east coast
that msrp means nothing when the car doesn't sell as much anymore
useds ones with 20-50k miles cna be had for 20-25k
so as it is now, just wait things will get cheaper

the original plan was to market it as an acura, but mr. honda said no... so it remained a honda. now that he has passed, anything can happen, but i dont see anyone being so jacked up as to go against a dead man's wishes.

Obviously Acura would have loved to get their hands on the S2000 so they would basically have all the very exciting product to sell. (NSX, ITR) Luckily that didnt happen for honda, or else honda wouldnt have its all star athlete to sell. With the death of the Prelude, the Honda lineup would look really unsporty without the S2000.
one honda salesperon asked me if i wanted to trade my ITR plus cash for a new CIVIC SI....asked me if i was looking for something faster. I asked him if he was looking for a bitch slap

In the West Coast they're still jacking up the price. I stopped by a Honda dealer in Van Nuys, CA recently, and the S2000 in the show room had a sign on the windshield saying that the MSRP does not reflect the current market value of the car, please see a salesman for details...
