Default Timing belt kit and Brake Pads Help

Hi guys, I have a 1996 LS integra AT. My car is 30K miles away from 90K, and I need to have my timing belt and brake pad replaced. Do you know which brand is reliable ? I have no idea about the timing belt kit, but I heard people recommended me to use Hawk HPS or Axxis ultimate brade pads, but i'm not sure which is reliable. I don't use my car for track, just normal driving. I don't want the sqeak type, dusty, that's bad for my rotors.. i also need a bite hard effect. Thanks

A quiet, dustless hard biting brake pad is an oxymoron. I recommend staying away from the ceramic pads if you want an all around good pad. Get the OEM pads.

The HPS and Axxis Ultimates both dust quite a bit, the Ultimates more than the HPS's. HPS's dust brown and Ultimates dust grey/black. The dust washes off easily with a car wash.

I will also recommend OEM pads.. I went months with using autozone pads.. my wheels stayed filthy.. So i sucked it up and went to acura and bought some new oem pads... dust is much lower than before.. And the car still stops well..

As far as timing belt.. I would also recommend OEM if you can afford it..

Check out prostreetonline they usually have some pretty good prices...

For pads, spend the money and get the Hawk "Performance Ceramic" pads.

They don't bite like the HPS, but (thankfully) they don't dust like them either (less dust than stock pads even). They're good enough for me to not bother swapping out pads for auto-x duty, but I do switch over to HPS (soon to be HP+) for HPDE use.

any ceramic pad will be low on dust. take your pick. belt wise? mmm...you should do the belt, waterpump and tensioner all at the same time. i would just buy a kit on ebay. OE is nice, and or GMB pumps aren't bad and any US made belt is pretty decent. goodyear had pretty good deals on honda belts.
