Default mini me setup

i know this isnt really a mini me setup cause its not vtec but i have a d16a6 bottom end and a z6 non vtec head with stock ZC internals. i know the compression ratio is a bit to high to run any forced induction but i just recently bought low compression pistons and forged rods, soon to come titanium valve springs. I also bought a skunk2 agressive camshaft and skunk2 racing valves. would this be a route to go or does anyone have any better suggestions?

[QUOTE=JDM_Kevin]a z6 non vtec head [QUOTE]
When you say "non vtec" head do you mean your just not hooking it up? Because the D16Z6 head is a vtec head.

oh well when i bought it from the guy he said it was non vtec, we had a garage full of engines so maybe i miss heard, he might of said a ZC head, i know those can be non vtec and vtec, ill look into it more and get back to you, if it is a ZC head, what would your opinion be on continuing this project?

What are the specs on the piston you bought? You can probably still go boosted.

Check your head for a vtec solenoid... Unless he took it off, which would be a bitch move, it will be on the back left, you can't miss it... Yeah I thought all z6s were vtec...

my bad i checked and it is a a6 block and bottom end with zc internals and a zc head non vtec. but the pistons i ordered are cp pistons that run a 8:1 compression ratio so im defenitely boosting, also bought eagle rods, and pickin up on some titanium valve springs pretty soon also. as for the rest, im runnin a skunk2 agressive cam, copper head gasket, skunk2 racing valves, and a 3'' to 2 1/2'' custom turbo back exhaust, t3/t4 hybrid turbo, FMIC w/ nitrous, aem pulley gears, and a skunk2 cam gear. i got more i just cant remember it all at once. this is really my first hardcore turbo project so im just makin sure everything is gravy by checking on some other opinions i.e. you guys, i heard the mini me's are a bad *** setup to boost but im just makin sure
