sold old acura and building a new set up, b16b on a 95 acura, wat way??
i had a 94 acura with a type r motor, noz, and well over $9000 in the car, this time i just want a street car, my last car was a show and go car, but this time i wany a really fast go car. so i bought a b16b motor and a rolling shell, i got almost 5 g's left, wat would be the best parts to gain power, i do all the labor so im not weasting money in that.
Different motor. If you put $9,000 into a Type R motor, you're most likely not going to make a B16 faster than that. B16's are gutless motors, no torque at all. HP is signifficantly lower as well.
Just curious why did you go with a b16b and not look at putting together a lsvtec or something along those lines? But since you want to spend more money on that motor Id look at more displacement, bigger cams, good tune and maybe a final drive... From what i have read the deck height is the same as the b18's so you could use some of their internals for a longer stroke.
sell the b16b then buy a gsr or ITR motor and build it for either NA or boost, b16b is just a destroked ITR motor, or you could just swap in a gsr or ITR crank and rods and gets some good pistons and cams and lots of tunning
ok the motor didnt have $9000 in it. i put a itr conversion fiberglassed half the inside of the car, but ok i get it they suck, how about i get a itr block, and alot of eagle parts for it
Wow - what a bunch of broken up english !
I think you should just do a small turbo setup on an ls motor !
You can make 270-300whp and have a reliable car !
