Default I'm New (Kind of), just wanted to introduce myself.

I just wanted to introduce myself to you guys. I'm new to Integras, but not new to Hondas. I've owned 2 Civics, an EK and an EG, and I recently had an Accord. Now I have a 1996 Integra LS 4 door 5 speed. It's a sweet car so far. My plans are to autocross it and drive it daily. As far as mods go, I have only had it for two days, but the resonator has already been removed, giving the stock intake a nice sound.

What do you guys think that the best intake/exhaust/header combo is and why? Thanks.

I searhced around and found a post on whether the Comptech Ice box or the AEM CAI was better. However, I would like to retain the stock box, since it is cheaper and it's just an intake. Does anyone know if any other drop in filters besides this one from Comptech are made?

Thanks.

Intake = Turbonetics
Exhaust = Thermal 3"
header = Rev-hard

Thanks for all your replies. Tell me, is the stock air box the same on the B18B as it is on the B18C? If it is, then does anyone have any experience with the Spoon Sports drop in filter?

This is from Spoon's web site:

The maximum output of the Honda DOHC 1600CC ZC engine of the 1980s was 120HP. Improvements on inhalation of air pulsation, and reservation of exhaust flux are important factors in making 160HP or more. For torque reservation, only the air filter within the factory air box is a recommended upgrade. The length, layout, and thickness of the exhaust pipes, must be set finely according to displacement volumes of every car. An optimal combination can be achieved with tests performed over a long period of time.
