ok im doin a b20 vtec swap an have a few wire questions.

ok im gonna be using a 97 civic ex wire harness (obd2) but my block an head are obd1.

ok im wondering if i can use an obd1 dizzy and alternator with an obd2 wire harness?

any info would be great.

 

b20 block only came in 97-00 CRVs which were only obd2a, or obd2b the head prob is obd1, you can get a dizzy jumper harness like i did, obd1 dizzy to bod2 wire harness with the rest if you had the stock engine harness you could of just cut and spliced the old clips to the new harness like i did

 

password jdm has the jumper harness for 30+ shipping, i got mine from there and they are legit

 

so your sayin i can jus do a splice on it? or i gotta get the jumper an then splice it with the jumper?

 

you dont have to splice the jumper, they only sell a jumper for the dizzy, so that you dont have to cut and splice the dizzy wires, the alternater, injector clips gotta be cut and spliced
