interchangable starters? Dseries

interchangable starters? Dseries
i got a d15b7 motor and with a d16y8 transmission. i was wondering if all the dseries starters were the same or if i had to purchase a specific starter (d15b7 starter, or a d16y8 starter)

most D Series Parts are interchangable ie; clutch, starter as stated by EJ1, water pump, headers, and more. things not interchangable are stuff like the oil pan, timing belts, and so on....im not a guru just stuff i picked along the way.
