Default Full-Race T3/T67H.O. Ek Build-Up Thread - from the UK -

after i sold the eg6, i had some spare cash to play with

i came accros this light damage mb6 vti for a absoloute steal and couldnt resist ;-)

75,000 miles, and 1 of the smoothest running b-series ive heard

so now im on the look-out for a 1.4/1.5 ek in white to drop the b18c4 into

still had some cash leftover, so i got to thinking of what to spend it on....

i made some 'purchases' and.........

Today i got home, to be confronted with this

Inovative ek engine mounts

Full-Race T3/T67H.O. Turbo (garett GT37R modified by full-race)

FULL-RACE :-)

gonna start stripping the c4 out of the mb6 this weekend hopefully

Bumper, headlights, wings, mud flaps, slam pannel, aircon

Seeing it all open like that made me think.........

:joker:

seeing it on the block has given me some extra inspiration to get things moving :king:

small update: a few more parts towards the build-up.

i had a set of Craft Square TC-F Carbon mirrors on eg6, and obviously when i sold it i kept them, as they are an expensive bit of kti,and not to mention the fact i bloody love them!

I was just about to advertise them for sale on civiclife when i came accros this

http://www.nengun.com/craft-square/corner-plate

Corner plates to convert them to fit an ek! or whatever else for that matter, for just £35 :-)
needless to say, they will be purchased

Another piece of the puzzle

Took a trip up to see jonny and luke at tegiwa imports on the weekend, and picked up a Greddy Oil cooler, with Earls Lines and Grex Sandwhich plate.

Also got a master cyclinder brace while i was there

Update : Big Part Of The Puzzle

Well i FINALLY found a white ek to drop the c4 into.
2 Owners from new
58,000 on the clock. (2700 when they bought it back in 2000)
tons of receipts
honda service history up until 46,000 miles
original receipt of purchase for £7,800 from honda back in 2000
3 oem keys including the all important RED key

Found it on ebay, and i messaged her to ask how much she would end early for, but unfortunately that morning her daughter had been driving it and had an accident.
So i messaged back, and said depending on how bad the damage was, id still be interested in it

post-accident

Bumper, wing, headlight was damaged. Flitch was ok though :-) purely panel damage. also just caught the rear arch too. i took the headlight of of my red ek so i could drive it back,as it was up in wilmslow, cheshire.

Gonna start taking that lil d14 out this weekend if i have time, ready to drop the c4 in

Small Update:

EK9 Gauge Cluster
courtesy of TEGBOY on civiclife

and a brand new Sir Rocker Cover thanks to jonny and luke at tegiwa.

finally managed to find some time to get the c4 out the mb6 yesterday.

took the driveshafts out and disconnected the loom
and in no time she was out

i was well pleased....can u tell

me and marcus took a break and went to machine mart and picked up this

put it together, took the starter off, and the gearbox and clutch off the engine and bolted her to the stand

then i took the alternator and inlet manifold off and gave her a bit of a clean

put the manifold turbo and downpipe on to give me some inspiration to get this done

next on the agenda, when i get payed, ordering internals and a few other bits

because its a 4 door heavy car, and the same bodyshape as a rover 400/45 which is a british company. they were both built in the days when honda was in bed with rover, and to be honest, who wants to drive a rover with a b18 in it???
