Car was "rebuilt" by a guy on here named chucky who claimed he could do the work but brought it back to me running funny. Rebuilt motor is in the car. Car starts and idles...it won't go over 3k. It was just bailed out of a shop and they fixed every possible little problem that he left not done including a oil leak and exhaust leak. compression is good in 3 cylinders and one is low according to the shop but my Dad is saying they said all four are good and no blue smoke. Car smokes white and eventually clears out due to whatever the issue is. The car threw a rod to begin with which started this whole situation.

CEL's?
what all was rebuilt?
have you contacted the guy who did the motor?
white = coolant which suggests headgasket

 

Exedy clutch
Type S pistons
Eagle rods
new dizzy
new axel
new bearings/gaskets
new valves

No check engine light.

 

verify cam timing

perform compression or leakdown test. Preferably leak down.

was a valve job done to the head with the new valves?
