It says on hondata's site that the stage 3 has a vtec controller, so would I be wasting my money if I bought a v-afc and then got hondata?

 

There is absolutely no need for a VAFC if you have Hondata, unless you like the pretty VAFC display. Hondata stage 2 and above all allow you to set your vtec cross over and redline on the fly.

Also, you have a lot more control over fuel than with a VAFC.
