Well i need pass inspection been to numerious place no one wants to run it since my manifold slash cat on the dx's is one peice. So im gonna order and ebay header and a full exhaust system off of there. They only come with stupid test pipes and it wont pass with that so my question is will a 92-95 cat or any other 96-00 civic cat fit the setup. Mind you that im getting the ebay header that deletes that in the orginal position.

 

Too bad you don't live in MD, If you lower your car enough (which is not alot at all) they just wont take you overtop the rollers, (every car port has rollers and if you OBD2 you need to go over them too) and just pass you.

 

not quite understanding y they wouldn't inspect your car with the oem manifold and cat, since its oem. i have a 99 hatch and have run a 5th gen (92-95) exhaust on my hatch (i have run a dc header and am currently running an y8 exhaust manifold).

Did they say why? Every D16Y7 comes with the cat integrated with the exhaust manifold. There's got to be more to this.
