None of us in here will have a B16 block. Try:

R you serious? lol

Use B18C rods. B16B block = B18C block.

Look into B16Ax pistons. B16B pistons have a high dome impeding flame travel, and are the heaviest OEM B series pistons.

HEY MAN THANKS-
ive been busy with life but still have a race car to put around in-
ive got a lsvtec right now and i know its not going to last forever- want to get a old spun bearing motor back breathing again
its finally cooling off in az for me to work in the garage.

i knew someone would reply about the b16b block- but figured enough people in here with common sense understand that im well aware of it being a b18 block

I am curious what people use with the other pistons though- maybe something forged? how do you know what rod length for alternative piston options? is there an online guide or anything? are the wrist pin locations standard on all honda pistons or need not worry about that?
thanks in advance.

For OEM or shelf aftermarket pistons, use OEM length B18C rods.

If your class rules allow it and you want to go baller. Custom pistons with a raised pin and custom length rods are the way to go. I like CP Pistons and Cunningham rods. Eagle makes some shelf long rods, but I'm not a big fan of them for NA engines (too heavy).

ok thats exactly what i was looking for- im not looking to spend a bunch right now , but i think forged rods are the way to go- ill check out those cunningham rods-
do anyone get ktech rods here? i was going to order a set of those maybe

honda challenge isnt much of a race group in az- so i run in pt-b
ill be ok with rods in that class

basically heres what im working with-
a spun bearing b16b
a new gsr crank-
no pistons-
no rods-
no bearings
looking for the most power for my buck- any sugestions? buget for like 700 bucks?
