you should be fine due to havine an ap2 with the rear glass window. It would hurt to cover it im sure, weather on a vinyl top for a long period of time can't have a positive outcome

Just make sure you brush the top off after a storm and you will be ok. I ran my 05 all last winter in Maine. Good luck.

Just don't let the snow pile on too thick. Clean it with some regularity helps too. My observation has been that a slightly dirty top will fold differently than a cleaned top, and rub that one weak spot more. The weak spot that develops into a tear in so many older S2000's. Lucky for me Honda paid for a new top after my warranty ran dry. I learned my lesson.

Also, don't put the softop down in weather under 45 degrees or else it could break - according to Honda.

Im pretty sure your not supposed to put the top down in any weather colder than 45. The material gets stiff and can crack or rip went bent in the down position. Not to mention if a bolt or something rubs it whch would also create a rip.

ask me how i know.

I know a dude that rides a VW Vanowagon, RWD, bus/hippie wagon. He uses studded tires and gets amazing traction in snow. I believe they are either illegal to have or illegal to sell in many states.

I only have snow tires for my S2K. I ran studded snows on my Accord last winter. Studs are only really good when there is snow on the ground. When you are on the highway it feels/sounds like driving a jeep.

i have studdable winter tires on my S2000. I lived in the mountains outside Denver and used it as my DD for a winter. The only time I got stuck was when the snow was high enough that the frame was sitting and dragging on it.

I also took a ride with a group from S2KI with these tires. I was able to keep up or lead the pack even with winter tires. They're actually kind of fun!

Because here in teh MidW3st, 45 degrees is a widely accepted temperature around these times, and quite frankly, I still roll two wheels until there is snow glazing the surface..Then the studs go on
