there 06 07 08 honda civic si OEM intake ???

got a fix it ticket for my intake and exhaust so i need to change it asap even if you dont want to sale it im willing to pay for you to let me borrow it....help a brother out my step dad threw mines away when i put my CAI so now im in need for one....


i live in south central los angeles willing to drive for it just need it for the inspection which will be an 1hr or 2 thanks

 

I got an intake for sale if you want it, I live in Diamond Bar which isnt to far from Los Angeles.

And yes it is the OEM intake that came standard on the SI's. I got the whole thing, but am not to sure about all the hardware. So P/M me if your interested.

80 $$ OBO, im pretty much open to anything since I dont have an SI anymore. Just try not to low ball me to much.

 

What brand of intake do you have? I can mail you my AEM Exemption Order Decal that you can stick on the intake, but the downside is you have to remove any trademarks from your existing unit.

 

How did they find out you had an aftermarket intake?

He must have done the infamous bolt on test cops have been doing now adays.

When I got my first fix it (Oh Momeories) They were searching for nosssss or boost, I was like naw man I got V-tech. He was like whaaaa

Cuz I v-takked it to the speed limit and the motorcycle cop thought v-tech was me hitting the nossss

His exact words " I heard you gun it and hit nos"

so what happened was that i was in east la at 12 am and i was on my way to meet up with friends to a taco stand...fat *** huh

i was doing speed limit was 35 mph and then i see a cop just turn on the lights i was like umm ok i kept going because he was next to me not behind me he passed by i went into the taco stand he went around the block and pulled into the restaurant....told me are you the owner of this car i said yes sir....and he said you know your exhaust is to loud and i said umm i wasnt aware of that....(since cops have let me slide b4) he said the usual lis and registration gave it to him he told me to pop the hood im like umm ok...he did he searched my engine for 7 min and he said whats this injen and i said thats what you call an intake he said...he said whats the o.e sticker i said excuse me he said carb i said its in the process so he got me for loud exhaust and intake i was like are you serious and he responded isnt that what the ticket says i was so mad !!! to top it off he was hispanic just like me

What exhaust do you have? To verify that you were actually 'too loud' he would need a db meter. I don't trust a cop saying its 'too loud' without an actual quantitative measurement. My friends and I have been hassled for loud exhausts also, and we're running with stock units. to the bacon that patrol ca.

Luckily cops around me don't know **** about cars.

They think every Japanese-looking car is a Nissan, every American-looking car is a Ford, etc.

its not that owning a car sucks in CA its just the LAPD or worse the Gendale PD
i got an AEM CAI and GReddy Evo2 cat-back, and Tein S springs. Freakin Porker searched under my hood and also under my car, why, dont freakin know. told him that the intake was AEM and was like "oh,ok" lol. started questioning me on the exuast and i told him to just do a DB test and just said nah haha. So the freakin porker just let me go a-hole. Thats Glendale PD , nothing but little bitches.

what do you need it for no state ref in ca right now unless they just got it back but you just gotta go to the judge and tell him you fixed it but you tried taking it to the ref but the office was closed and its a 10 dollar fix it and you dont even gotta change it thats what my buddy did with his exhaust and intake supercharger on his mustang... and tell him the office was closed and chp didnt want to sign it off but you DID get it fixed!
