I was wanting to find out anyone towing experience with a first gen CR-V.
I know they are rated up to 1000lbs, but I was curious what any real world towing experiences have been.

I looking to tow up to about 700-750lbs prolly. Will be mainly in the city, maybe short road trips (4-5hours away at max). Thinking of getting a shifter kart and an open utility trailer.

 

I towed a sofa on my 99 with three people, baggage, and other stuff inside from NJ to NC. No problems. Then my lawn equipment from VA to NC and today I'm taking a load of wood pallets home. It does just fine.
Yours has less power than mine but it should do fine still.
